Specialist Not‑for‑Profit Accounting Services in Australia

Financial confidence for not‑for‑profits — built on partnership, clarity and experience

Not‑for‑profits carry a unique responsibility.

Financial decisions are made in service of purpose, under increasing governance, compliance and reporting expectations. As organisations grow, clarity and confidence are essential — not optional.

We exist to support purpose‑led organisations with end‑to‑end accounting and financial partnership, delivered in a way that is structured, predictable and genuinely helpful.

Why work with us

Not‑for‑profits operate across diverse sectors and funding models — and those differences have real financial implications.

Our approach is grounded in hands‑on experience supporting not‑for‑profits since 2018, across a wide range of organisational structures, sizes and stages of growth. This experience shapes how we work today: practical, informed and closely aligned with the realities of the sector.

Sector-specific understanding

We have supported not‑for‑profit organisations across sectors including:

  • Religious organisations

  • Community services (including NDIS and Aged Care)

  • Arts and cultural organisations

  • Tourism and heritage organisations

  • Advocacy groups

  • Early childhood education

  • Clubs and associations

Each sector brings different operational pressures, stakeholder expectations and reporting requirements. Our role is to ensure your financial systems and reporting reflect how your organisation actually operates — not a generic accounting model.

Deep familiarity with not-for-profit funding

Financial confidence looks different depending on how an organisation is funded.

We have experience supporting not‑for‑profits funded through:

  • Donations

  • Grants

  • Memberships

  • Sponsorships

This means we understand the practical complexities of:

  • Restricted and acquitted funding

  • Multi‑stream income tracking

  • Program and fund accountability

  • Reporting to boards, funders and members

Your financial information is structured to support transparency, governance and confident decision‑making.

Meet the Founder

Kayla Stott, CA

Chartered Accountant & Registered Tax Agent

Kayla has worked in and for the not‑for‑profit sector since 2018, supporting organisations across a wide range of sectors as they grow in complexity and responsibility.

She has extensive experience working with organisations funded through donations, grants, memberships and sponsorships, and understands the importance of accurate funding tracking, restricted funding compliance and clear, board‑ready reporting.

As a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent, Kayla brings a disciplined, values‑driven approach focused on integrity, continuous improvement and implementing positive change to streamline financial processes — helping organisations strengthen governance, reduce complexity and build long‑term sustainability.

The practice was founded to give not‑for‑profits access to structured, predictable and high‑quality financial support — delivered as a trusted partnership, not just an external service.

Our approach

One team. One fee. Financial confidence for purpose.

We work as an extension of your organisation, not a disconnected service provider.

That means:

  • Taking ownership of your accounting end to end

  • Supporting leadership, boards and volunteers

  • Providing clear, understandable reporting

  • Offering calm, considered advice as complexity grows

All services are delivered via monthly retainers, giving you clarity around scope, support and cost — without surprise billing or fragmented responsibility.

Built for transition and growth

Many of our clients come to us during transition:

  • From volunteer‑led or part‑time finance support

  • Moving away from internal staff model

  • As funding becomes more complex

  • When boards are asking for clearer insight

  • When growth increases risk and responsibility

We understand these tipping points and provide support that strengthens governance while remaining practical and proportionate.

Kayla has been fantastic. We are a Christian Not-For-Profit, which isn't always straightforward, but she has saved us hundreds of hours in getting our financial systems operating effectively, analysing our processes and helping us to be more efficient. She has a service mindset and is able to provide helpful recommendations when problem-solving. It has been a pleasure working with her, and I highly recommend her to others.
